“I’d recommend Sarah Guilliot to anyone who’s ready to take their business to the next level.”

I had thought we in Impact Actual understood our ideal client, value proposition and the rest, but we really hadn't gotten near to the granularity we needed - and the sales page she wrote for us was perfect. I'd recommend Sarah Guilliot to anyone who's ready to take their business to the next level. Invest in your vision.

Case Study Summary:

The Client:

Rob, a Retired Navy SEAL with an incredible story of perseverance built his company, Impact Actual with a vision of improving society for the better by giving people tools to release trauma, learn emotional intelligence, and find purpose and happiness in their lives.

How I helped:

PHe had a fantastic course he had sold through an arduous manual process for years and was ready to automate, scale, and launch like a pro.

I was still offering design services at this time so I stepped in with solutions to their unique tech stack needs, a comprehensive launch plan, and copy + design for every step.

  • After enrolling in Amy Porterfield’s DCA course and being totally overwhelmed by the launch process, Rob came to me for help.

He and his team at Impact Actual needed a sales page to launch their Impact Unchained course (copy, design, build) and guidance on how to launch in an organized, repeatable way. (Note: I no longer offer design and build services but can recommend service providers I trust, to handle these parts for you!)

He also needed help identifying the right tech/software for his end goals.

  • Not only did Rob and team need guidance through a course launch process, but they also needed technical advice. They’d planned to move to Kajabi (on recommendation from Amy Porterfield in her Digital Course Academy program) but were overwhelmed by all the steps to do so and not even sure Kajabi was right for their needs.

I assessed their technical needs and came up with a recommended “tech stack” for them including LMS (learning management system), booking calendar tool, email tool, and sales page platform.

  • We had a deep dive team call to assess goals, needs, and overall strategy.

Rob filled out my comprehensive Sales Page questionnaire to get clarity on overall messaging.

We did a focus group study with past clients since he didn’t have a lot of data on what potential students wanted, and on what past students had gotten from working with him. This allowed us to gather testimonials as well.

The team also arranged a brand photo shoot to provide imagery for us to use in their project within our timeline.

  • I worked behind the scenes with my team to write, design, and build the entire launch; sales page, launch emails, social media graphics and captions, launch calendar, guidance on live promotion + schedule.

(Note: I no longer offer design and build services but can recommend service providers I trust, to handle these parts for you!)

This project also included a future launch plan (templatized) for a 5 day challenge they could implement on their own later in the year (and future years) after gathering data from incoming students on what they need more of.

This was all presented in a meeting to Rob & Team on their intensive day(s). So there wasn’t a need for extra meetings in between. Just review everything in context, make changes live, then they were off to the races!

  • Final Deliverables:

    Branding
    Copywriting
    Design
    Tech Stack
    Strategy
    Launch Plan + Calendar
    Bonus: Challenge “in a box”

(Note: I no longer offer design and build services but can recommend service providers I trust, to handle these parts for you!)

  • My team and I worked behind the scenes over a 3 week period to create all the planning and assets.

Time required for Rob and Team was just 2 days/calls to review the project and make live edits together. Then we wrapped it up in a bow for handoff!

“The world-class sales page that Sarah made for us was my favorite takeaway from our intensive, because I'd been trying to build sales pages on the cheap for years...and it showed.”

My process creates ease and satisfaction for everyone involved…

Here’s what the team had to say:

“I was completely impressed with Sarah’s expertise in roping in all of the creative madness to execute a smooth and rich presentation that fully embodies exactly what we are trying to convey to a prospect.” - Tricia

“Sarah is amazing! The quick turnaround in our project, the specificity of the launch plan and the sales page were all perfect for what we were thinking we needed. She’s a great listener with a great talent for designing processes to get us off to a fantastic start.” - Patrick

It’s all in the details

Every part of your project is designed to serve a specific and calculated purpose. From Sales Page layout to Launch Emails and the Plan itself…I’ve got YOUR unique needs covered. Here are some details that made this project really shine…

Colors & Mood on Sales Page

A really effective Sales Page tells the (potential) story of your student…their Hero’s Journey!

The Impact Unchained Sales Page illustrates this journey through colors, images, and words.

The top of the page is dark and pensive with messages of empathy. Moving down the page, colors get lighter, images more hopeful, and messaging showcases possibilities for change.

This is the journey Impact Unchained students take so it was important to showcase that.

My process gets to the heart of your vision so you feel understood and ready to move forward with confidence.

Here’s how it felt from Impact Actual’s client perspective:

“We loved working with Sarah in our two-day intensive. It was thorough - very thorough - and she was able to tease out what would have been an impossible amount of high-value detail for my little team on our own!”

A smiling middle-aged man with tattoos on his arms, wearing a white shirt, a black necklace with a cross, and a smartwatch, standing against a yellow and gray wall.

“The sales page Sarah designed for us was perfect!”

“Sarah took the time up front to really get to know us, in order to best design the intensive itself, so I had complete confidence by the time we got to the big day. The only thing that made me nervous was my own ignorance of the comprehensive discovery process, and man, am I glad I didn't run from it.

I had thought we in Impact Actual understood our ideal client, value proposition and the rest, but we really hadn't gotten near to the granularity we needed - and the sales page she designed for us was perfect!”
